Spotlight Dance Company is a local dance studio that has been a part of the Harker Heights community for over 10 years. Studio 203 Dance Centre, formerly Karen and Donna School of Dance was established in 1976 by sisters Karen Buchholz-DePriest and Donna Arce. Since its founding the studio has trained over 7,000 dancers including many who have become professional dance company members, NFL Cheerleaders, dance studio owners and professional dance instructors. As we enter into another year of service to the Central Texas area, we have elected to change our name to reflect our unique combination of experienced instruction, cutting edge choreography, committed service and exceptional rates. Our dedicated management, instructors and staff will continue to provide the exemplary instruction, service and value our customers have been accustomed to at Karen and Donna School of Dance. We are a competitive Dance Studio. We train our dancers 4 to 5 days a week. Our program operates like the school athletics requirements meaning our kids must maintain passing averages in order to perform. We build up our dancers with courage, confidence, and strength. We help develop our dancers in to young leaders. We teach them that they can do anything and to express themselves through dance when they cannot use words. Dance is a universal language. We leave no dancer behind. No matter the skill level.
