The Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus is dedicated to providing boys in the community an enriched educational experience through the study and performance of choral music. The Chorus endeavors to impart musical, social and leadership skills that build self-esteem and have a sustaining impact on its members. Representing and serving the community as an artistic and cultural resource are fundamental to the Chorus Mission. Boys starting at age 6 have an opportunity to participate in any one of eight chorus groups the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus offers. Boys learn to sing together as well as to do trick rodeo roping. Highlights include the Holiday and Pops concerts in December and May, respectively. Financial assistance is offered so that all boys can be a part of this nearly 80 year old Tucson institution. Be a part of the "New Generation of a Tucson Tradition" and join the chorus today. The Chorus Hall at 5770 E. Pima St. is available for rental for special events. Built in 1927, the Temple of Music and Art is a proper cultural arts venue. Constructed in an elegant, Southwestern style, the Temple breathes grace and class with its beautiful surroundings of cobbled stone, fountain–splashed patio, and quiet tree-lined street. Now home of the Arizona Theatre Company, the spacious Alice Holsclaw Theatre with its 623 seats is a marvelous place to see either Shakespeare or concerts. If a smaller, more intimate setting is desired for a performance, upstairs the Temple has the Cabaret Theatre available.
