The Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center has come to be associated with cultural activity in Rockford, and with good reason. This establishment plays host to some of the finest musical performances in the city all through the year, and differebt genres are encouraged. There are a number of concert series held here, and events like the Piano Club for all ages ensure that there is no lack of musical activity. The Emerson Auditorium and the Reitsch Room can also be hired for private events.
