Built as a stable and a barn for a large private estate in the year 1830, Oliver's Carriage House is now home to the Kittamaqundi Community Church. Despite heavy renovation carried out by the church in the year 1969, the house has retained the original stone walls and wooden beams, which, along with the beautifully landscaped streamline gardens provide a perfect avenue for hosting private events. Equipped with various technological amenities, catering services and other infrastructure facilities, Oliver's Carriage House has, in the past, hosted various family gatherings. Ten Oaks Ballroom is a large elegant crystal chandelier-lit ballroom and conference center located in Clarksville, Maryland, midway between Baltimore and Washington, D.C. The ballroom is suitable for conferences, weddings, rehearsal dinners, trade shows, bar and bat mitzvahs, business meetings, corporate receptions, training sessions, fashion shows, proms, birthday parties and anniversaries. The facility is completely handicapped accessible. There are no steps for the handicapped or elderly to negotiate.
There are 3 large Meeting Halls, 1 Conference Room, and several smaller meeting rooms that are available for rent. We have facilities open for rent 7 days a week. We open our doors to gatherings of all types such as: banquets, birthday parties, baby showers, business meetings/conference, company seminars/classes, graduation celebrations, weddings, receptions, worship services & all other private parties/events. OBIC is currently home to many religious congregations.
