Atkins Auditorium is an event ground on the campus of The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. The spacious seating and classical ambiance, makes the auditorium a perfect fit for hosting events, shows or celebrations. The auditorium is also equipped with finest acoustics for musical events. Garment House on Broadway is a multi-level, premier event venue nestled in the historic and upscale Quality Hill district and conveniently located just blocks from I-35 and I-70. Located at 10th and Broadway, and built in 1904, this establishment was the center of activity for several successful textile and garment manufacturers in the 1920s. During that era, the Kansas City Garment District employed 4,000 workers and was second in size only to New York City's Garment District. One in every seven women in the nation wore clothes manufactured in Kansas City at that time.
