The mission of Clermont State Historic site, a private not-for-profit educational corporation, is to advocate for and support the conservation, preservation, development and improvement of Clermont; to support and conduct educational programs, services and activities which may extend beyond the normal scope of State support; to encourage and support scholarly research; to raise funds and acquire objects, equipment and supplies solely for the purpose of supporting the programs and activities of The Friends of Clermont and the mission of the site; and otherwise to promote, conserve, preserve, develop and interpret Clermont State Historic site for the benefit of the public for this and future generations.
M & D Farm
We are a multi purpose boutique events space specializing in intimate well curated celebrations for 150 people or less. All set in a relaxed authentic barn atmosphere complemented by extensive green spaces, gardens with a Mediterranean European flair and a gorgeous 1800's four bedroom farmhouse. We are available for weddings, anniversaries, corporate events, birthday parties or any type of special commemoration. We offer weekend creative retreats, workshops and master classes throughout the year, focused on our passion for food, garden, home and lifestyle photography. Stay tune as we conduct additional pop up dinner events during the season meant to highlight the local farm to fork movement. Also be on the lookout for our antique rummage barn sales, crafters fair and art openings coming up spring 2017.
