Studio 203 Dance Centre, formerly Karen and Donna School of Dance was established in 1976 by sisters Karen Buchholz-DePriest and Donna Arce. Since its founding the studio has trained over 7,000 dancers including many who have become professional dance company members, NFL Cheerleaders, dance studio owners and professional dance instructors. As we enter into another year of service to the Central Texas area, we have elected to change our name to reflect our unique combination of experienced instruction, cutting edge choreography, committed service and exceptional rates. Our dedicated management, instructors and staff will continue to provide the exemplary instruction, service and value our customers have been accustomed to at Karen and Donna School of Dance. Our mission at Studio 203 Dance Centre is to not only give the finest possible dance training to all of our students, but also to instill them with a positive self-image which contributes to a happy and fulfilling adulthood. Settles Point is a beautiful wedding venue located just outside the city limit of Harker Heights, Texas with a view of Stillhouse Lake. The indoor facility includes a large ballroom with a seating capacity of up to150 guests, a large atrium, parlor, kitchen and dining room. Private suites are also available for guests wishing to stay overnight. The grounds are gorgeous and offers several locations to host the wedding ceremony. Features also include choice of 3 outdoor rustic locations, 11 acres of wooded trees for photographs, towering elms, beautiful live oaks, lavendar, cacti, turk's cap and many other Texas Native plants, natural setting, with elegant cedar Tea Arbor, scuplted Pergola, and landscaping lights to allow for evening events. There is an indoor Great Hall with tables, spacious kitchen, food service area and restroom facilities. It allows for any variety of set up arrangements. The, serpentine Lirope Lane meanders from the front door to the Pergola with Prayer and Tropical Gardens on the side for walking down; arched trees covering The Lane to open rear acre which is awash with Texas Native wildflowers in the Spring and is edged by the Little Nolan and Nolan Creeks. With recycling in mind, many guests enjoy hanging out at the former "old school" satellite dish now repurposed as water fountain.
