Illume is a 102-year-old historical church that has recently been renovated. Beautiful arched windows, custom lighting and woodwork with two event spaces, each with a capacity of 100+.

With two unique Rental Spaces, we have a diverse facility with plenty of space for creative design and planning. Centrally located and easily accessible from both I-5 and WA-99, Seattle Design Center is a great choice for a variety of beautiful functions.
Cathedral
Cathedral is located in the heart of Historic Ballard -- directly on Ballard Avenue. This historic space features gorgeous finishes, exposed brick, and marble bar-tops. We can host a wide variety of events including -- private parties, corporate meetings, fundraisers, and wedding receptions. We opened Cathedral in 2018 with a simple belief: that people want to help — they just need a place to start. What began as an event space was rooted in a desire to give back and to help others do the same. Not long after opening, we began working with young men impacted by incarceration — offering them work, mentorship, and a consistent space to grow. Then the pandemic hit. Events stopped overnight. So we pivoted — and started making candles. That pivot became our purpose. Today, everything we do is centered on creating opportunities: through job creation, peer mentorship, and reentry support for young men inside and beyond the justice system. Our work is about more than candles or events — it's about building stable, meaningful futures. When you book an event with us or buy a candle, you're doing more than making a purchase — you're investing in real lives. A deep rooted history of the land is only the beginning to the wonders of the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall in Seattle, Washington. The center is a favorite location to host exhibitions, shows, art, cultural and sports activities. The facility includes a banquet room, theater seating and several meeting rooms. THE 101
THE 101, Seattle's most versatile event venue, was designed with every detail in mind. Located in the vibrant and historic neighborhood of Pioneer Square, THE 101 boasts original red brick as well as white brick walls, with original wood columns, forming an outstanding ambiance that needs very little, if any, decor. THE 101 can features flexible rentals (hourly, 24-hour, and multi-day), can seat up to 200 guests with tables and chairs included, and is LGBTQ+ inclusive. Our open vendor policy and no curfew help make planning simple! Whether you're hosting a wedding, baby shower, milestone birthday, retirement celebration, corporate meeting, gala, vendor market or photo shoot, THE 101 is the perfect blank canvas space for you and your guests to gather. Now a fully restored historic rental venue in Georgetown, this venue holds its historical roots with a modern adaptation throughout its recent renovation. The building features high ceilings, original brick walls, and is held up by beautiful antique wooden ceiling beams. Once the grounds of the first race track in Seattle, for the last 15 years The Stables hasn't hosted horses, it has hosted weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, and more. Now a part of the Fonda La Catrina & El Sirenito Restaurant family, we hope to be the gathering place of Georgetown and the greater Seattle area.
