Chastain Arts Center & Gallery

The Chastain Arts Center is City of Atlanta's oldest arts center offering arts classes since 1968 in various mediums: painting, drawing, printmaking, jewelry, framing, ceramics, and more for adults. We also offer youth summer camp, teen workshops, and year-round children's programming. As well as host exhibitions in the Chastain Gallery, children's birthday parties, and special event rentals. Chastain has undergone various improvements throughout the center from the Inform Women, Transform Lives mural created by Sarah Neuburger, additional paved parking, and becoming ADA compliant.

Reinike Gallery

The picture window out front is adorned with a large painting of an arched hallway, and the first-time visitor is often forced into a double-take. Is that the gallery itself, or just a wall hanging? Inside the gallery, you'll find a full range of fine contemporary work, including original paintings, pewter lamps, candlesticks and other unique works of art. Murals, sculpture, and functional art pieces are also on the menu. Custom design service is available. Contact owner and artisan Edna Reinike for details.

This non-profit fine art gallery exhibits a rotating schedule of the works of local, national, and international artists. Sponsored by the City of Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs, this charming Buckhead location is convenient to the idyllic grounds of verdant Chastain Park, one of the area's most pleasant civic greens where the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performs an annual summer concert series. Exhibitions change seasonally, so be sure to check the current roster for new displays.
