This entertainment center located in Fort Wayne, is a prime destination for music lovers. It has multiple clubs under its roof and the main room hosts as many as 50 plus national concerts every year. The state-of-the-art technology distinguishes the place from others of its kind. Computerized lighting and a high-tech sound system are some of the highlights. The establishment also features a large dance floor, where bands perform acts that are projected on a big TV screen. Past performers include Willie Nelson, Creed, Godsmack and REO Speedwagon.
We work with children, ages 3-18, in five levels of theatre, dance, voice, comedy, stagecraft, radio and public speaking. As one of the few theatres that is not only for children but by children, Youtheatre also teaches practical vocational and technical stage skills. We lead winter camps, summer camps, Arts in Education workshops, free after school drama clubs throughout the community, class scholarships, free and reduced student tickets, internships and no cost theatre through our busy traveling tours. Youtheatre has been honored by Youth Digest, Arts United Arts in Education Awards, Indiana Theatre Achievement Award and the American Theatre Association.
