The mission of the Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center (CAFAC) is to inspire hands, hearts, and minds through art forms produced by heat, spark, or flame. CAFAC is the only arts organization in the Upper Midwest focused on fire art forms, which includes sculptural welding, blacksmithing, metal casting, enameling, jewelry, lampworking, and neon bending. The pillars of our work are arts education, artist support, and public art, which together provide a platform for community-driven resources and social impact. CAFAC is motivated by a simple motto: sparking creativity and fueling community.
