Temple Music and Performing Arts offers beginning and advanced students private lessons in music and the performing arts. Located conveniently in central Scottsdale, lessons are done in a professional, encouraging environment by expert working artists in their respective fields. I am a String Specialist. That means I play and teach violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, guitar, mandolin and ukulele.
We offer piano, violin, vocal, trumpet, drum, cello, harmony, and sound engineering lessons.
I specialize in guitar lessons for the beginner. The lessons are a full hour long and I work with each student on their own level, where other teachers want you to work at the pace of other students. The lessons are one-on-one, with attention and emphasis placed on the individual students needs and abilities. I teach students from the ages of 7 and older. Very flexible schedules to fit your particular need. Lessons are $35 per hour, with a minimum of 1 hour per week. All printed material is included, except for standard music books. I work hard to provide a fun, safe and relaxed atmosphere in which the student can learn and enjoy playing. I teach drum lessons to people of ALL ages and skill levels. I'm well versed in pop, rock, punk, jazz, hip hop, and funk. I have two drum kits set up facing each other, so my student can watch me while he or she is playing. In my experience, this is the best way for students to learn. I really enjoy teaching from my experience not only as a player, but also collaborating on songwriting as well as song arrangement.
