I am a 40 professional violinist & violist and teach both. I am passionate that my students learn how to practice wisely and effectively. The quality of practice time is even more important than the quantity. I bring to my students 40 years of experience as a professional performing violinist. My resume includes working with San Diego Symphony, San Diego Opera, Civic Light Opera, Montovani Orchestra. et al. I have also performed in orchestras backing up popular entertainers, e. g. Tony Bennett, the late Natalie Cole, Donna Summer, the late Sammy Davis Jr, et. al.
I specialize in helping my guitar students develop their artistry, while guiding them through the guitar skills required to achieve their goals. I teach many styles, but I am most passionate about folk and rock.
