The Napa School of Music is a private music school founded in 2005. We offer private lessons and online 1-to1 lessons on individual instruments including voice and several themed classes for all ages. Now in its 20th year of operation, the school has provided thousands of lessons to families in the Napa, Solano and Sonoma Counties. Since opening the school has also conducted over 75 Garage Band 101 sessions. It is the North Bay's premier private music school with 500+ students taking lessons every week from 20 highly qualified teachers. Rick, your tuning professional, being a professional musician also, knows exactly how a great piano sounds. So, he will make your piano sound GREAT. Educated in Chicago, he has studied piano technology since 1972.
Anyone can learn music no matter what age you are. I am here to help those who have a desire to learn voice, piano, and/or guitar. I believe each of us has a song hidden inside our own hearts, and I want to help others find their song by learning music. I will only teach beginners and intermediate players at ages 5 and UP. These lessons are great for those who have little to no background in music.
Take Premium Piano Classes (Lessons 2 times/week) - Learn how to play piano much faster. The most enjoyable way to learn how to play the piano is to take multiple lessons a week. Take Group Piano Classes - Groups are generally 2-4 students for 50-55 minute classes. Take Private Piano -45 minute private piano.

I offer both one on one and group lessons for drums, guitar, and ukulele. I also offer classes in song writing, music production, music theory, ear training, and group band classes. These classes can be taken in person or online from the convenience of your home.
I work with my students to develop an individualized curriculum. We develop music performance skills including technique, note reading, and important pieces in classical, jazz, show music, and rock. This is balanced with the student's favorite genres, artists, and songs, contributing to confident, skillful, and highly motivated musicians!
