Studio offers private piano instruction to students of all ages and levels ranging from beginning to intermediate and advanced. A traditional classical approach is applied to mastering piano technique while simultaneously developing the ability to read music, interpret and understand music theory and navigate through a score of any genre. Fostering the love of music and sharing the joy which comes from learning a musical instrument is the primary objective of my studio. Instruction and guidance is provided with patience and respect to each individual who undertakes the journey of discovering the language of music. The instructor holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in the field of music and has been teaching in the community of South Pasadena since 1994. Several past students after graduating high school have gone on to either major/minor in music at the University level.

|Piano & Guitar lessons| My specialty is unlocking the creative potential in my students, through holistically learning music that inspires them. Here's my usual process that can be catered further for each student's needs: Learn | Create | Record like your favorite artists! STEP 1 - We start with the music that you love that has brought you to the idea of learning an instrument. From there we learn the technique, the musical language and the artistry that is involved in performing that song/piece. STEP 2 - We will create compositions/songs using the tools we have learned from step 1. You are now a composer/songwriter! STEP 3 - The hours of hard work and dedication have been put in. Now we will professional record the music you have learned and the music YOU have created yourself. Rinse and repeat!
We offer private music lessons for kids and adults on piano, guitar, voice, violin, drum, bass, trumpet, trombone, tuba, french horn, keyboard, viola, cello, oboe, saxophone, flute, clarinet, ukulele, accordion, theory, recording, exam prep, and more! We also teach group classes for several instruments. Our academy also offers optional low pressure traditional and "rock style" music recitals. All of our music teachers are university trained and have extensive teaching and performance experience.
