I have over 40 years experience teaching students of all ages in public and private schools, the homeschool community, and in a private studio setting. I teach ages 10 - adult, with special consideration for students under age 10 on a case-by-case basis. I am both encouraging and structured, able to build student confidence and provide the structure necessary to make satisfying improvement on the instrument. I teach all levels from beginning to advanced. Some areas of specialty include helping school students to overcome bad habits, starting adults, and addressing the needs of those from the Christian faith-based community.

Professional guitarist Steve Langemo started the Colorado Springs Guitar Studio with the idea of creating a fun and engaging learning environment for both beginning and advanced guitar players. The goal is to help aspiring electric and acoustic guitarists as well as electric bass players learn and explore their musical interests while providing affordable lesson fees and flexible scheduling and payment options. Students at the Colorado Springs Guitar Studio receive personalized private guitar or bass lessons that are tailored to their strengths and musical interests.
