I love seeing students progress and experiencing the joy of expressing themselves by making music. Music is a great emotional and creative outlet and also fun, intellectual, and inspiring. I teach all aspects of music including interpretation, technique, and music theory. My expertise ranges from classical to jazz to pop, but I most likely will be able to help you with whatever you bring in. I also am a vocal jazz and pop coach. I can help you with interpretation, repertoire selection and technique, how to transpose to the key that best suits your voice, and to write good charts for instrumentalists. I also am a great accompanist and like to teach piano for vocalists. I have a BM in performance and pedagogy from CU and perform regularly as a jazz singer-pianist.
