Music Together® is a researched based music education program for young children and "the grownups that love them." The classes are mixed ages ranging from infants to children age 5. Our play-based approach to music learning is fun, engaging, and hands on for the children and adults in the class. We focus on providing rich music experiences that support each child's capability to achieve basic competence in music. Singing, dancing, movement, and instrument play with a new song collection each semester makes our classes fun for the whole family.

You'll find me at bluegrass festivals and concerts. I learned to play fiddle late in life and am obsessed with "playability" for both kids' and adult instruments. Am happy to discuss instrument choices and answer questions, just as if we were both sweating in the heat of a summer music festival together.
I studied music at the University of Delaware and have a bachelor's and master's in music performance. I am accepting students during my open hours. Ages 6+ up to retired. I use the suzuki books and other materials that cover music theory, learning to read music, help with instrument setup, and some minor repairs and maintenance like string replacements etc. and of course, proper holding of the instrument and bow. Let the learning begin!
