Sharon Hartmann is a fiddler/violinist for over 40 years. Sharon has been in the Orlando area for the past 20 years. Sharon specializes in Irish, Bluegrass, Old-Time, and some swing fiddling. Sharon teaches classical violin techniques such as how to hold instrument and bow correctly, but stresses individuality and personality in playing styles, how to analyze music, music theory, different scale work, tone, intonation, and especially rhythm to the beginning player and those who may want to improve their playing styles. Sharon teaches all ages from 6-100. Playing a musical instrument helps keep the brain active with better memory retention especially in math, critical thinking, and lanquage skills. Sharon makes learning one of the most challenging instruments fun.
