Personalized piano instruction on a beautiful, well-maintained baby grand in my Edgewater apartment. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether you’re just starting, returning to the piano after a break, or pursuing advanced study, and focus on building solid technique, developing musical expression, and cultivating joyful, sustainable practice habits. I bring a Doctorate in Piano Performance and am currently pursuing a PhD in Behavioral Psychology, combining years of international recital experience with evidence-based teaching methods (including Suzuki certification for young learners). My approach blends rigorous classical training with flexible, motivating repertoire, guided by current research in music psychology and practical strategies that make learning rewarding. I have published in Psychology of Music and continue to investigate motor learning and group synchronization in performance, which directly informs how I help students progress with confidence and creativity.
