Studio Jayne has been educating youth-adult piano students since 2021. The lessons focus on personalized instruction, individual goals, and of course: theory, technique, performance, and improvisation skills. We write music, perform duets, and hold an annual winter recital in Shepherdstown. Elementary students with no experience acquire the ability to read music within a few months and new adult students learn the skill of reading and playing two hands in under a year. Miles Lieder is a professional drum instructor and gigging drummer for hire. All of Miles's students will be given a personalized lesson plan, guidelines, songs and weekly feedback on progress. Welcome to Joyful Keys Studio in Gaithersburg, MD. I'm an active teacher, concert artist, church pianist, and accompanist with years of experience and a deep understanding of music theory. I began my music training at the young age of four and received a doctorate in piano performance from the University of Texas at Austin. Now, I'm eager to teach others everything I know about playing the piano. My approach to instruction is rooted in a solid foundation, adaptable to individual talents and needs, abundantly pleasurable and fulfilling, full of support and encouragement, and attentive to the artistry of performance.
