For The Love Of Music I am a Music Teacher so I don't just teach an instrument, I teach music theory and the musical language. My primary goal is to teach my students how to understand and appreciate music in all of its forms so that long after we stop our lessons together, they're able to teach themselves songs, listen with greater understanding and appreciation and be self-sufficient in their knowledge and skills so they can take it as far as they want. I have had students who have gone on to be in successful bands, made careers out of teaching themselves or just written songs for their spouses and asked for my help recording them. I develope meaningful musical relationships that I have lasted into adulthood with my students and families because I truly believe no matter the interest level, music enriches peoples lives. I plan on doing this until I can no longer play or speak because I believe my motto, whole-heartedly: For The Love Of Music.

I will provide individual lessons for piano/keyboard students ages 4 through adult. With over 30 years of teaching experience, I'm sure I can help your dreams to come true. I'll work with you on your schedule to achieve the results that you are aiming for. It's hard work, but it's so much fun to learn to read and play music. The lessons are usually once a week for 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour; your preference, depending on how much time there is for your practice at home. Whether you have a piano or a keyboard, the notes are the same, if you can play one, you can play the other, so that won't be a problem for you.
