I offer guitar, piano & songwriting lessons in Park Slope at the Music Room inside Spoke The Hub. Recently, I have helped current students prepare for a performance at the Kennedy Center, audition for high school and college, write and produce their own albums, meet their yearly goals for music and prepare for recitals. I work with each student to develop a curriculum that is in line with the student's goals. I strive to keep lessons fun while helping students discover their musical voices. I teach rock, pop, folk, classical and songwriting. It brings me a lot of joy to watch students become more confident musicians and songwriters. I have a Master’s in Music Education, write my own music, have recorded over 5 albums & toured throughout the US.
Music Play Studios offers the internationally renowned music program "Music Together" for children newborn - 4 years old and "Rhythm Kids" for children 4-7 years old.
We specialize in medical-based voice technique and repertoire coaching. Enroll in our performance and songwriting classes or piano and guitar lessons for well-rounded training. Career Enhancement Coaching is also available for those pursuing a professional path. The science of singing is no longer a mystery! The voice is a product of balance in structure and function. You are designed for efficiency and we teach you to remove obstacles to that efficiency rather than "teaching the student to sing." Unlearn unbalances in your voice and unlock the quality sound that you were literally born to have. We provide everything you need to go from novice to professional, but it's up to you to take advantage of the resources. WVS is part of an umbrella company called Performers Career Center, which is everything you need to know in a name - we bridge the gap between learning to sing well and creating a quality performance. We even provide weekly group classes that help with stage freight and monthly opportunities to perform for your peers.

Wether you’re a total beginner, or have been playing for years and just want to focus on specific skills or knowledge, I will create a flexible individual course for you which can evolve over time with your abilities and needs.
