Teaching all ages about Music Technology. Yes we teach basic piano, guitar & drums, but much, much more. David Musil earned a full private scholarship and then a full teaching fellowship for 2 Masters Degrees in Music Technology and the Psychology of Music between the Juilliard School of Music and NYU. David Musial then won an Emmy Award in 1998 for there U.S. Dept. of Education and MTV by using Music Technology. Prof. Musial designed the "Audio for Video" course at NYU and won Music Technology Professor-Of-The-Year (3 Times in the 1990's). Prof. Musial designed the Music & Technology Curriculum, the Sound Synthesis Research Center in 2004 and hired all of the faculty. The curriculum won second pace as "Most Innovative Changing The Industry" at "Best Colleges" in 2012! Prof. Musial inspired the "Student Division" of the "Bob Moog Foundation" in 2007. Musial was presented an award from the U.S. Dept. of Justice in 2010 for "Promoting Positive Messages Through Music". Prof. Musial then went on to win the "Buffalo Music Hall Of Fame" award in 2014. David loves to teach and his students excel with musical uniqueness!
Juliet Music School was established in May 2007, directed by Professor Ubaldo Diaz-Acosta. Our experienced and qualified employees have master degrees, and some of them have obtained doctorate degrees in music. We focus mainly on building foundations because we understand that without a good foundation, students won't be able to have a solid learning. Our mission is to educate our new generation with our essential MAB (Music, Academics, and Behavior) learning system. Prospect Heights Music is a new music studio opened in the summer of 2010. The studio specializes in voice and piano lessons for children and teens, but is open to music-lovers of all ages. Our mission is to foster imagination, creativity, confidence and personal growth through the study of music. Through active listening, music gives us an understanding of ourselves and others, as well as the opportunity to explore the world around us in a way that is engaging, honest, and inherently meaningful!
