At Sheets Music Studio, I work with both kids and adults, and one of my favorite parts of teaching is meeting students exactly where they are. Some of my students are kids just starting their musical journey, learning how to focus, practice, and build confidence. Others are adults who have always wanted to play an instrument and are finally giving themselves permission to try. For adults, I offer multiple classes designed specifically for adult beginners and returning players—classes that move at a comfortable pace, explain the “why” behind what we’re doing, and create a supportive, low-pressure environment. Learning music as an adult should feel exciting and empowering, not intimidating. For younger students, lessons are structured, engaging, and age-appropriate, with a strong focus on building solid fundamentals while keeping learning fun. Music becomes a tool for growth—not just musically, but in confidence, discipline, and creativity. With over 20 years of performance experience and more than 10 years of teaching, I bring both musicianship and approachability into every lesson. Whether I’m working with a child holding an instrument for the first time or an adult fulfilling a lifelong goal, my goal is the same: to help each student feel supported, capable, and proud of their progress. No matter your age or experience level, there’s room here to learn, grow, and make music.

I started as a guitar instructor in 2008, and have taught consistently since then. I have a degree contemporary music performance. I have worked in music retail and technology retail for more than a decade. I also have an array of technology skills that are suited to consultation in sound system installation, isolated networking, computer hardware, systems, and network management and repair.
