William Seiji Marsh Guitar Studio specializes in private study for adult guitar students. William offers weekly, bi-weekly, or intermittent guitar lessons for adult students, tailored to the student's personal goals. He has taught a wide range of styles and levels. William's philosophy is that music education should balance informational learning (scales, chords, songs, technique, theory, etc.) with an examination of undistinguished factors that may be impacting the student's learning. These factors might include resistance to practice, performance anxiety, comparison to others, and feelings of inadequacy in one's music or playing, among other common mindset issues. He has effective methods for dealing with such issues and have seen breakthrough results in his students and clients. Cello lessons with Birdseye Studio co-founder Caleigh Drane are also available.
