Hopkins Piano Studio offers instruction to students of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a young beginner, an advanced pianist, or an older beginner wanting to fulfill a lifelong dream of playing the piano, we are here to help you achieve your musical goals.
West Shore Music is a leading music lesson studio based in Lemoyne, PA, serving students from Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, and the greater Harrisburg area. We offer private lessons in guitar, bass, ukulele, and voice for kids, teens, and adults of all skill levels. What truly sets us apart is our structured, proven approach to teaching. Founder Nicholas Carothers has developed innovative methods that help beginners get started with confidence while guiding more experienced students to a higher level of skill and musicianship. Students don’t just take lessons — they make real, measurable progress. As we’ve grown, we’ve built a team of highly skilled instructors who are not only experienced teachers, but active performing musicians. Our collaborative teaching environment means instructors regularly share ideas, refine lesson materials, and stay connected to real-world music — giving students a more engaging and effective learning experience. We’re especially proud of the results we see in our students. Young beginners build confidence quickly, while teens and adults develop the skills to play the music they love. Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to take your playing further, our goal is simple: to help you succeed and enjoy the process.

I specialize in one-on-one piano instruction that is tailored to the needs, interest, and pace of the student. I accept students age 4 and older, including adult piano students. Our studio holds two recitals annually. Students in my studio also have special access to additional local recitals, events, competitions, and scholarships through the Lancaster Music Teachers Association.
