Music Together® is an international early childhood music and movement program for children from birth through age 7. It pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. Our research-based curriculum develops basic music skills such as singing in tune and moving with accurate rhythm. It nurtures creativity, self-expression, and confidence and supports social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. I'm a singer and songwriter with a BA in Music Ed and I recently relocated here from NYC where I've been teaching since 2003. I love teaching children and adults and helping them explore their talents. I teach lessons in voice (singing), guitar, piano and songwriting. The age range for my current student roster is 5 years to 65 years of age but I'm open to all ages. Studying music can be beneficial at any time in a persons life and is a wonderful form of expression. Some students come to me for audition preparation for high school or college. Some come because they've always wanted to learn how to sing better at karaoke. Others want to play guitar or piano for family functions or want to write a song but aren't sure where to start. Some want to pursue a career in theater and the arts. From the very first lesson, I gear the music towards each student's specific goals and preferences.
