I’ve been teaching guitar and music since 1998, and I’m always learning something new about music every day. I earned my degree from the Atlanta Institute of Music (AIM), and I also have a B.A. in jazz guitar from Kennesaw State University. I’ve been playing guitar since 1990, and I’ve had the chance to explore many different music styles, from classical and folk to rock and jazz. Plus, I’ve had the pleasure of performing in various settings. I’d like to share a bit about how I approach teaching. I always try to customize lessons to fit each student’s unique needs. Everyone has different goals when they learn to play guitar. Some students are eager to dive into music theory and improvisation, exploring scales and arpeggios. Others simply want to play a few songs for fun with their friends. And then there are countless other paths in between. My goal is to help every student achieve what they’re aiming for, while also showing them how to teach themselves and improve their skills independently. So, whether you decide to work with me or another teacher, here’s a reminder: the more time you dedicate to practice, the better you’ll get. It’s also important to stay consistent with the topics you focus on. After your practice session, take a short break, then get back to it. Thank you for your time and I look forward to the opportunity to earn your business. Scott Sadler
