Greetings! I offer private viola, violin, and piano lessons to adults and children aged 5+ of all skill levels. Teaching is my passion and working with my students is the highlight of my day. As an instructor, I am kind, patient, detail-oriented, and committed to helping you meet your goals. As a classically trained musician, the techniques I teach prepare my students to perform classical music. For beginning students, I frequently use method books such as the Faber Piano Adventures and Suzuki. For advanced students, I use a combination of repertoire, scales, and etude books such as Czerny, Schradieck, and Kreutzer. As a freelance musician, I have performed in orchestras, chamber ensembles, and for private events such as weddings, birthdays, and funerals. Earning a Maestra en Musica degree in Bogota, Colombia, a Master of Music degree at USM, and gaining invaluable experience through international performances in Colombia, Italy, and Ecuador has prepared me to help you on your music journey. I am located in the Columbia City historic district and I can offer lessons online, in my home, or select nearby client's homes for an additional fee. Students taking private piano lessons in my home have the pleasure of using a baby grand piano during their lessons. Violin and viola students must bring their own instrument to their lessons. Embrace Your Music provides piano lessons for students across Seattle, Vashon Island, Bellevue, Kirkland, Port Orchard, and Tacoma, and internationally online.
I teach piano, drum, and music composition lessons to students of all ages. I generally start piano as early as 6 and drumset as early as 8. (There are exceptions). For students younger than that, I teach fun introduction to music lessons focusing on rhythm, basic note reading, and instrument knowledge.

We aim to provide high quality music instruction to our students through private lessons, classes, and performances whilst providing our teachers with support and the ability to choose their own wages.
Other days and times are possible by appointment. I teach private music lessons on piano, flute, clarinet, and saxophone. I love working with students of all levels and abilities, helping them to develop an appreciation and love for music. I work with each student as an individual to bring out their strengths and help them develop to their full potential. I incorporate music into the lessons that the student will enjoy and take an interest in, as well as music that broadens their horizons, including many different styles of music (classical, jazz, popular, children's favorites, show tunes, etc.).
I offer piano instruction to students of all ages and abilities. My focus is on selecting the music that will engage and motivate students, while teaching them traditional musical elements such as note reading, rhythm, scales & cords, and fingering.
