Our focus is on personalized, fun, and relational musical instruction at an extremely high level of focus on the whole musician. Students at TIA learn to understand music fully on all levels: reading, interpretation, rhythm, melody, phrasing, harmony, repertoire, and instrument mastery. We currently offer private lessons in piano, guitar, and voice, and small group classes (labs) for piano as well.
We provide incredibly effective and rewarding music lessons in a variety of instruments including piano, guitar, ukulele, percussion and more - for all ages. Specialized instructors teach our cultural, performing and fine arts after-school programs for youth ages 5-11. Our half-day preschool is an arts immersion program with an educational learning focus. School year and summer camps with fun themes round out our specialty offerings for NW Seattle.
Guitar Lessons. Private and group guitar lessons specializing in classical, classic and modern rock, folk, blues, fingerstyle, indie, and metal. Lessons for children 5 and up. Beginning instruction through professional coaching.
School of Rock provides both in-person and online music lessons for students of all ages. Our programs, camps and workshops for toddlers, kids, teens and adults make learning to play music fun and create great communities of musicians. School of Rock is the leader in performance-based music education. We combine one-on-one drum, bass, keyboard, vocal, and guitar lessons with group practices. Students learn to play music from day one and put on live performances at local venues. Our experienced instructors are local musicians themselves who combine the performance-based School of Rock Method and programs with individual music lessons to get results for your student.
