I teach students the language of music in a positive and enthusiastic environment. It is my goal to empower each student to influence their music education with input based on their interest and long-term goals. I will tailor the curriculum to match each student's specific learning needs and desires. I like to meet students where they are at and I'm flexible with what we work on. I also balance that with recommending material to students within their skill level and developmentally beneficial. With my approach, students will get out of it what they put into it because I allow my students to have quite a lot of input in defining our direction together!
