Known as St. John’s Museum of Art between 1964 and 2001, the Cameron Art Museum is now located inside the Pyramid Park that comes replete with woody nature trails, streams and lush forests. The permanent exhibits are deeply insightful of the history and culture of the region, and have been wonderfully preserved over the decades. Yoga, tai chi classes, puppet shows, readings, film screenings and recitals are a regular occurrence at this vibrant center that seeks to foster a love for the performing arts too. This is a small store BUT mighty. It carries a lot of unique items and gifts. The dress shop has many new designs. There is a complete pottery studio in the back with wheels and slab rollers for the person that needs space to do pottery.
