Homeville has three major interest areas: military artifacts (uniforms, weapons, pictures & stories), railroads & model trains and CNY local history (businesses, pictures, maps). We are a component of the CNY Living History Center, which also includes Brockway Trucks and Tractors of Yesteryear.
Get involved with the community by being a part of the Roberson Museum and Science Center. The museum has been built around the Roberson Mansion overlooking the Chenango River. The mansion was converted into a museum after the owner Roberson wanted to follow his vision of making the mansion a well-recognized museum throughout the country. Today the museum is open to general public and offers various exhibits on historic culture and art from around the world. Know more about the universe at the planetarium that is located at the site. The mission of the museum is to educate the youth about science affairs, therefore, they have science school programs for students. You can also host your parties at the mansion since they give rental spaces.
