The first microbrewery in Eugene since the days of Prohibition, the High Street Brewery & Cafe is housed in a renovated 1900s house on the fringes of the city's center, complete with a backyard beer garden where ales are enjoyed under the shade of fir, ash, hawthorn and tulip trees in the summer (warmth provided by an outdoor fire pit in winter).Our comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere appeals to people of all ages and from all walks of life. Our cafe is adorned with original McMenamins artwork on our walls, doors and equipment.
Sheffer Recital Hall is a grand hall located within the iconic John G. Shedd Institute for the Arts. Well-equipped with great acoustic settings and comfortable seats, the hall hosts a multitude of concerts and musical events throughout the year. Smaller than its 750-seat counterpart, the Jaqua Concert Hall, Sheffer Recital Hall is a humble 175-seat venue. A calendar of upcoming performances at the recital hall is available on the website.
