My work centers on the world immediately around me—my pets, my environment, and the quiet details of everyday life. I am drawn to what might otherwise go unnoticed: fleeting moments, familiar objects, and subtle emotional shifts. Through multimedia processes, I create “keyhole” snapshots of lived experience, blending observation with imaginative interpretation. My current body of work explores nostalgia through immersive, constructed environments. I recreate spaces using manufactured objects that reference a specific memory or moment in time. While these spaces are rooted in personal experience, they are built around universal themes—childhood, comfort, loss, belonging. By inviting viewers into these carefully fabricated settings, I hope to trigger their own recollections. The objects, colors, sounds, and even fragrances function as sensory cues, encouraging participants to connect their memories with mine. I am interested in the tension between authenticity and artifice—how a “counterfeit” environment can evoke something deeply real. Memory itself is constructed, layered, and sometimes unreliable. My work mirrors that process. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design, along with minors in Entrepreneurship and Writing, from McDaniel College in 2025. Beyond my studio practice, I am devoted to tactile traditions such as stained glass and beekeeping—disciplines that reflect my enduring interest in craft, preservation, and transformation
