Southside Cultural Center of Rhode Island contributes majorly to the thriving cultural scene of Providence. It offers newly renovated creative space to emerging artists and supports the interaction between artists and audiences in all cultural fields from visual art, literature, music, dance, theater, film and the humanities. It includes a 350-seater theater and multiple rooms that can be rented out by arts enthusiasts to fully engage their passion and talent for arts and culture.
An integral part of student lives at the Rhode Island College, The Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts is the hub of various events and presentations the year round. One such facility of this centre is the Auditorium In Roberts Hall which hosts many cultural events, programmes, film presentations, recitals and plays in it's space. With a capacity of 943 people, a hi-tech sound and lighting system, the venue is well-equipped for hosting the above mentioned events.
