Do you like jazz music? Real Jazz music? Well you have found the perfect place ! Imagine New York in the 20’s during the flapper era, complete with the blue light vibe… well it’s just like that but Corpus Christi, TX in the modern day 20’s. Jazz Room is an intimate and exclusive venue that offers a variety of music specializing in live jazz on Saturday nights! We have the best musicians that Corpus has to offer. Reserve a few seats for date night and enjoy the music or even bring your instrument and play with us. It’s always open mic! Our house band consists of Jon Perez on keys, Eddie Olivares Jr. on sax, Paul Bowman on drums and Wizdom on vocals! They sound awesome! On Friday nights you may find a local Blues artist, or someone playing acoustic guitar and harmonica! Friday nights is also karaoke night! Once per month on a Friday night we have spoken word and poetry night. Watch the website for updates. Jazz Room has no age restriction. We are not considered a bar, but an Arts and Entertainment venue. There are adult beverages on site for a donation but it’s BYOB! I custom build each copper art piece myself. I usually use 12 oz sheet copper, 8-10-12 gauge copper wire and 0 silver brazing rods to make the strongest structures. I guarantee my pieces to last and will fix any issues should any arise. I love to teach others and can come to you with portable equipment or have a “party” at my workshop with up to 6 people. I take on commissions and communicate where the project is every step of the way.
