College of the Mainland Art Gallery is run by College of the Mainland and is the hub of artistry. The gallery serves as an art ground for university students, as it showcases historical and contemporary exhibits. Here you will find exhibits of all kinds, from art on paper to sculptural artistry, the gallery covers it all. It also has a special section for contemporary and digital art. Come create with us! Faculty, art teachers and college students work together to provide model art classes at UHCL and in public school locations. A special focus of the curriculum is the art of the world's varied cultures and the contributions of major artists. Our students are 3 1/2 to 18 years old.
Note: This Museum has relocated to a new Location in Kemah, Texas. A truly unique museum telling the history of the Texas Longhorn, and how the Butler family and Bay Area were integral in ensuring that the Texas Longhorns did not become extinct.
