At Villa di Campagna, our roots run deep in family tradition originating from the picturesque region of Campagna, Italy, meaning 'Countryside.' Gennaro and Elsa were drawn to the Texas Hill Country, reminiscent of Gennaro's hometown in Napoli, seeking to fulfill their American Dream. Gennaro embarked on his journey at 18, immigrating to the United States to pursue his aspirations. With Elsa's unwavering support, they established their first restaurant in Deer Park, TX, in 1988. Through hard work and dedication, they expanded, eventually settling in the Texas Hill Country with Gennaro's Trattoria. Grateful for the friendships forged in Canyon Lake, they envisioned Villa di Campagna as a haven for the community they cherish.
