Mary Nohl Art Environment

Late artist and alumni of Art Institute of Chicago, Mary Nohl used her backyard as an art gallery to display her concrete creations. Dotting the garden are eccentric sculptures and statues of figurines and fauna. This whimsical art gave her beachside home the nickname “the Witch’s House” and received opposition and demolition threats. In 2005, however, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Gallery 505

Gallery 505 is a small, very colorful and quirky store that has specimens of fine art all around. The gallery has paintings by many artists from around the world. Not only this, they also have beautiful artworks done on leather and glass items. Each and every colorful piece is fine and specifically picked because they believe in high-end quality delivery to the clients. The skilled artists use different types of coloring materials like chalks, oil paints and poster paints on their canvas, may it be paper or glass. The list on periodic events is regularly updated on their website.
