Carolina Girl Confections was named for the owner's love and pride in her home state and the unforgettable University of South Carolina Gamecocks. Carolina Girl Confections began its business making southern heirloom cakes, which are the owner's first loves, and later began creating custom sweets, including custom cakes and other pastries, at the requests of her clients. For the owner, baking is a passion that has passed down from generation to generation. It started out as a hobby that has grown immensely because of one pot luck Red Velvet cake. When the company potluck was over, folks asked, "Who made that cake? How much does it cost?" And, after many late nights, prayers, talks and sweet samples, Carolina Girl Confections was born! We bake BY ORDER ONLY and do not have a retail location. We require 24-48 hours notice for layered cake and cupcake orders. Give us a buzz for details on ordering any other pastries or baked goods!
