Madison Sourdough specializes in crusty artisan bread, French-style pastry, and outstanding breakfast and brunch. We want to make you feel at home whenever you come to Madison Sourdough. We make everything fresh from scratch, using local ingredients as much as possible. Our bread is hand-shaped after long, cool fermentation of up to 40 hours.
Lily was just 7 years old and in first grade when she decided she wanted to run her own business. Lily spent some time thinking up different business ideas and running them by family, friends, and teachers. One of her teachers mentioned that when she was a kid, she had had a cotton candy machine and sold cotton candy to neighborhood kids. Lily immediately loved the idea and asked her parents to help her set up and run her business. While looking at some of the available premade cotton candy mixes available on the market, she was really put off when she saw the ingredient lists, so she decided we should go dye-free.
