Located on 1st Street, this small but thriving business has amassed a lot of regular customers. They offer a wide selection of donuts with a collage of flavors that practically explode in your mouth, sending you to a state of happiness that most could only dream of. There is also a create-your-own option for those who are creative enough to build something exotic. The seating area, which is shared with two other trailers, is perfect for groups, but they also try to accommodate visitors during the colder time of the year by providing a coal fire. Gourdough's is great for families, couples, and teens.

Well, at least they have taken the title for best downtown doughnut in Austin when you consider how many people come in and out of the doors at this 24-hr. shop. The doughnuts are definitely one-of-a-kind; try the Voodoo Doll, it is a raspberry jelly filled yeast masterpiece that actually looks like a scary doll. The Mexican Hot Chocolate dusted with cayenne pepper, cinnamon and sugar is something you'll find only at Voodoo and even if you don't choose one of the crazy, but delicious concoctions, the shop still has plain chocolate, powdered, apple fritters, etc.
