At Great Harvest Bread Co., we're dedicated to providing you with warm, welcoming service and fresh, delicious bread each day. Our process is all about quality. We begin by grinding Montana wheat berries into whole wheat flour, in store everyday, never more than 48 hours old. Then, we begin measuring, mixing, weighing, kneading, and baking. Understanding the subtle nuances of wheat -- what great dough should feel like, how it should bake, and ultimately how it should taste -- is what distinguishes Great Harvest bread from all the rest.
We create artisan bread in multiple flavors and sizes. We started as a wholesale bakery providing bread, buns, English muffins and rolls for local area restaurants and resorts. We deliver from Terrabonne to Sunriver, and from Black Butte to Prineville. You can now come by the shop and purchase those breads, water-boiled bagels, cookies, pies, sweetbreads, and more for your own personal use.
M's Bakery
M's Bakery is a Hispanic-owned bakery that focuses on naturally fermented dough. We pride ourselves on our dedication to organic, local ingredients from farmers who share our commitment to quality. We are opening a brick-and-mortar space in the Old Mill District in October 2024! We will offer our complete selection of pastries and bread, as well as coffee, breakfast, and lunch services. Follow us on Instagram @msbakerybend to join in the journey of opening our first bakery space! The owner and visionary of M's Bakery, Dario, is from Mexico City. With years spent studying baking and culinary arts, he brings his unique approach to baked goods to M's Bakery. Since we do not yet have a physical bakery, the best way to find our products is to visit us weekly at either the Bend Farmers Market on Wednesdays or the Northwest Crossing Market on Saturdays. Additionally, our goods are available at various retail stores and featured on menus throughout town. We currently partner with Blue Eyes Burgers & Fries, Schoolhouse Produce, Neighbor Rotisserie, 'Wich Doctor, Turtle Island Coffe Shop, Lone Pine Coffee Roasters, Boss Rambler Beer Club, Wild Petals Provisions, and Market of Choice.
Since opening our doors in 2006, we have endeavored to accomplish a simple mission; to run an honest business, cook and bake delicious, beautiful food, and provide jobs we would be proud to have. So while our made from scratch pastries, breads, and savories will have your mouth watering in anticipation, the personal service, attention to detail, and engaging personalities of our people make our unique and intimate space feel like a home away from home.
