At the hand of the COVID-19 lockdown, Mathew Rice, premier pastry chef and Chopped champion, found himself unemployed in 2020. Faced with an uncertain future, he turned to what he loved best—crafting delicious cookies, with an emphasis on nostalgic flavors from his childhood. Connected to a dedicated Instagram community, he soon was filling weekly orders out of his Nashville home. To ensure contact-free pick-ups, orders were left outside—next to Mathew’s pink front door and Pink Door Cookies was born. Now with a flagship location just west of downtown in Sylvan Heights, we are growing quickly thanks to our loyal customer base who are tickled pink by Mathew’s whimsical flavor offerings. The menu now also includes wheat-free and vegan options. Come on in to feel the vibes and experience cookies that are made skill, love, and passion.
