Welcome to RVA's first Cake Drop spot! We release limited edition cakes every month (announced on our instagram @cakedrop_rva). We also do custom cake orders (full size, minis, cupcakes, cake cups. etc) for holidays, birthdays, corporate events, weddings and everything in between. We are not currently able to accommodate same day orders or highly-detailed fondant builds. We are also not able to accommodate allergens at this time. Reach out today and we’d be happy to chat about what magic we can make happen for you!

What started with a generations-old family Cookie Cake recipe in 1977 with only the best premium ingredients, Great American Cookies is the sweet spot for happiness and joy. We are still the home of the original Cookie Cake, just re-imagined with life's sweet moments as our inspiration. Passionate bakers are devoted to hand-crafting fresh-baked Cookies, Double Doozies, and of course our custom-designed original Cookie Cakes. With bakeries across the country, in your neighborhood, and treats available for delivery right to your door, the sweet spot is always close to home.
Here at Buttercream Dreamz we make everything from scratch with the best ingredients from our local farmers. We have many different flavors to chose from. Call for an appointment to have a cake tasting so we can design an amazing cake for your special day. If you can dream it, we can decorate it!
Claudia has always dreamt of having her name above the door of her own bakery. She thought that her move to Richmond in 2018 was her chance. Claudia has been baking professionally since 1986, which was a joy for her four children as they grew up. Whenever a child would come back from summer camp, college, or even just a weekend trip, there was always a baked good awaiting their arrival. After years of this, Claudia’s baked goods became known as a “taste of home.” Now that Claudia’s kids are all grown, she wanted to share her “taste of home” with her new home: Richmond.
