The Grain Shed has an unwavering focus on utilizing grains, produce, and proteins from small farms around Spokane. This allows us some of the most ethically grown and created products possible. We process all grains ourselves, from stone milling for flower to malting for brewing.
We are a completely vegan, mostly gluten free bistro, bakery, espresso, cocktail joint. Our dishes change daily based on local produce. We feature Indaba, Anvil, Evans Brothers and Doma espresso. We have been described as eclectic and funky... our interior is designed from reused, repurposed and recycled materials. We even have blender and toaster lights! Come visit and hang out. Rockwood Bakery is a local gem and a popular hangout for caffeine lovers, dessert enthusiasts and quick bites. Its hard not to get tempted by their delightful baked goods. Housed in the charming red brick Atrium building is this old-style European bakery and restaurant. It specializes in Italian cuisine and has become a fast favorite with locals. The pizza is generally excellent, with a good selection of vegetarian options and calzones. Interestingly, the restaurant has an in-house dessert chef so it is well worth trying whatever the night's specialty is.
