We are excited to announce that The Lumber Baron is relocating to a brand new yard on December 1, 2025. Our new address will be 1140 Harbour Way South in Richmond. This expansive new location is 3.5 times the size of our old Albany yard and is only a short six-minute drive away. We believe you will appreciate the added benefits of indoor storage and increased selection of products. The Lumber Baron specializes in new, sustainable, quality redwood, western red cedar, and reclaimed lumber. Unlike other yards, offer five grades of premium, all-heart redwood to meet the highest standards for any budget. We stock over 35 different sizes of surfaced and rough redwood, available in both unseasoned and kiln-dried lumber. From redwood decking and fencing to posts, beams, siding, and old-growth vertical grain redwood—we have everything you need. Since 2012, we have also carried a full line of clear, dry, Old Growth Vertical Grain #2 and better Western Red Cedar lumber. Our selection of Reclaimed Lumber has significantly expanded. In addition to the Reclaimed Redwood Lumber we have carried for years, we now stock reclaimed Fir, reclaimed Pine from Treasure Island, reclaimed Kapur, and more. We have also acquired special, local historical lumber from iconic locations such as the Bay Bridge. As a family-owned and operated business since 1978, we sincerely thank you for your continued support and look forward to serving you at our new location. The Lumber Baron: REAL.GOOD.WOOD.
