Riverfront Groves is among Florida s pioneers in providing Indian River citrus products. The tree-ripened fruit is hand picked and placed into field boxes transported to the packinghouse. Computer controlled optic/weight sizing equipment is onsite where the fruit is hand packed. The fruit is then loaded into refrigerated tractor-trailers for transportation to customers. John Knight founded Riverfront Groves in the early 1900s. In the early 1950s, Victor Knight, John Knight s son, realized that the key to maintaining the quality of the family-owned operation required its own packing plant. Riverfront Groves Gift Fruit Shippers is a subsidiary of Riverfront Groves. The company was created to serve the fund raising needs of many groups throughout the nation.
Indian River packages and distributes oranges, grapefruit, golden fruit, tangerines, tomatoes, pecans, flowers and corporate gifts to customers worldwide. The company offers gifts year round with citrus shipping ending in the summer months. Indian River also offers live Blue Crabs taken from the Mosquito Lagoon and its tributary, the Indian River. The company s history predates the American Civil War. After the South was defeated, the family-owned operation migrated to Florida along the banks of the Indian River. Noticing the growing conditions offered by the abundant rainfall and soil, the family began to cultivate oranges and grapefruit. As their crop size grew, the family began to ship fruit by steamboat, then train and finally by truck. Indian River is headquartered in Titusville, Fla.

Our products are made from the freshest olives, crushed within hours of picking, and come from countries in both hemispheres, as well as California. We carry fused and infused oils, truffle oils, and ultra-premium extra virgin olive oils (EVOO). The balsamic vinegars all come from Modena Italy, birthplace of balsamic vinegar, and are of the highest quality. We also carry many other specialty items in the store.
